If you embed a video from YouTube or Vimeo, some data may be transferred to the video provider prior to clicking on the video. This is problematic according to the data protection regulation, because a user should know, where their personal data is transferred to and stored. If you want to implement a 2-click solution for your embedded videos, just install this plugin. It hooks into the Elementor Video Widget and shows an explanation text about privacy. The user can then decide to allow showing the embedded videos. An informational session cookie will be set, so that the user does not have to allow the embedded videos again until the browser is closed. Alternatively, the user can use a direct link to the youtube video.
