Frequently Asked Questions
How can I export Quiz responses?
There are 2 ways to export quiz response reports:
- Basic Reports:
The export option is available for every quiz, which exports the responses of every quiz-taker. There is an option available at a quiz taker level as well, which exports responses at a per taker per quiz level. The export option can be found at LearnDash LMS -> Quizzes -> {Quiz} -> Statistics.
This will provide basic level of statistics report.
- Advanced Reports:
For advanced reporting, create a new WordPress page and put the shortcode [wdm_quiz_statistics_details] in it and update the page. On viewing the page you will see the advanced reporting section.
Can I export quiz responses of a particular user?
You can export responses for a particular user at a per quiz level. The option to export results for all quizzes for a particular user has been planned for the next version of the plugin.
How should I carefully upgrade to v3.0.0
If you have been using the Quiz Reporting plugin before v3.0.0. You will see a ‘Repair Dashboard’ notice on top of your main dashboard page. Click on that so that the frontend reporting page is displayed properly.

Why is the statistics option not showing under the quiz title at the backend?
The statistics option is provided by the LearnDash plugin. WISDM Quiz reporting extension just downloads the statistics.
If the statistics option is not showing up for a particular quiz, please contact LearnDash support for the same.
With the statistics shortcode who all can see the quiz reports?
Admins, Group Leaders, Instructors(from WISDM Instructor Role plugin) & Students can view the statistics in the frontend page.
- Admins can view reports of all students
- Instructors and Group Leaders can view reports of only those students enrolled in their courses and groups respectively
- Students can view reports for their attempted quizzes.
Why am I unable to export my quiz reports?
A reason why reports might not get exported is because your browser might be meddling with the functionality. Ensure that pop-ups are not disabled by your browser, and try again. If the issue persists, contact us via support.
Can I import quiz responses?
No, currently there is not an option to import quiz responses, but this feature has been planned in an update of the plugin.
